CD Laboratory for Molecularbiologic Food Analytics

The purpose of this CD laboratory, which was officially established in 2006, is to improve food safety. Currently, food testing is mainly conducted with microbiological methods. Together with its business partner AGES, the Agency for Health and Food Safety, the CD laboratory strives to develop applicable molecular-biological testing methods. Other main areas of research include food models and sample handling methods.

The CD Laboratory for Molecularbiologic Food Analytics was closed on 31st October 2013.
