Welcome to the Homepage of VetCore Facility for Research

The Core Facility for Research was established in 2006 based on funding by the University Infrastructure program III of the Austrian government. It started operating in Spring 2007.

Aims

•  Efficient use of large scale instruments at the University of Veterinary Medicine

•  Processing of veterinary relevant questions with molecular methods

•  Providing high quality data in a timely fashion and excellent customer service in a collaborative spirit with our customers

•  Supporting of networks between clinics and science

In addition to the on-going application of existing technologies, the Core Facility is also actively engaged in the development and testing of new technologies as needed.
