Vortrag von Dr. Carri Westgarth

Dr Carri Westgarth, BSc MPH PhD is a lecturer in Human-Animal Interaction at the University of Liverpool department of Epidemiology and Population Health, Institute of Infection and Global Health. She previously undertook an MRC Population Health Scientist Fellowship "Understanding dog ownership and walking for better human health". She is a Full Member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and occasionally teaches dog training classes on the Wirral.

She presents her current research on the questions, why people are bitten by dogs and who is a responsible dog owner.  

The lecture is organized by the "Journal Club on Animal Behaviour: integrative seminar on welfare, veterinary ethics, behavioural biology and medicine".
