Research

In my PhD research project I explore how far dogs´ decisions are based on an understanding of the partner´s role in cooperative economic games. Through this research we aim to gain a better understanding about the mechanism underlying cooperative behavior.

I am broadly interested in animal social cognition. During my MSc, I studied child development and game theory. Furthermore, I worked as a research assistant at the Inkawu Vervet Project in South Africa, which focused on social learning of vervet monkeys.

Current Projects

I am employed on the FWF-Project: Animals’ understanding of the partner’s role in cooperation.
