Books and journal articles which are not available in the university library may be ordered from other university libraries via our interlibrary loan service .

Yes. Staff and students of the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna have the option of accessing these online library services from outside the campus by means with External Access.

Non university persons can only use our services from within the campus of the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna.

The university library is equipped with 3 copy & print machines located in the reading room. This is a charged service. For information on our current prices see the tariff list below.

Students of the university need to transfer credit to their student card (Vetmed-Card) at the VetShop to be able to copy & print materials. 

University staff and other users of the library need to consult our information desk to use the devices. Please consider that payment for copies and prints will only be accepted in cash.

In addition the library provides one book scanner and two A3-scanners free of charge!
