Eva has studied Biology (Bsc.) and Molecular Biology (Master) at the University of Vienna and has performed her PhD at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. Her research focuses on the characterization of hypervariable genetic hotspots in Listeria monocytogenes in stress response and virulence and on genome analysis.
