Eurasia-Pacific Uninet

Eurasia-Pacific Uninet is an internationally active network, which was established in the year of 2000. Since then EPU has had the aim of supporting the scientific exchange, research and contact between universities and academic institutions all over Austria and research centres in Central Asia, South and East Asia as well as the Pacific Region.

With almost 150 members EPU can be considered the largest sovereign network of its kind in whole Europe. The scientific relationship of the nearly 50 Austrian organizations comprises programs with China and Mongolia. Further member institutions are Bhutan, Democtratic People’s Republic of Korea, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal,  Republic of Korea, Russia, Taiwan (China), Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
