WLAN - eduroam

The Vetmeduni WLAN is called eduroam(Education Roaming).

Data traffic via eduroam is encrypted and secured by two firewalls.
It is available to the entire campus.

Requirements for the use of eduroam:

  • active student, lecturer or employee of the university
  • Known login data

eduroam login:

  • <UserID>@students.vetmeduni.ac.at - for students
  • first_name.last_name>@vetmeduni.ac.at - for staff and lecturers
  • WLAN password = account password

To set up and use the Wi-Fi, you need to log in.
After correct setup, your device will be automatically connected to eduroam.

For security reasons, change your password regularly, do not tell anyone and make sure it is secure.
By changing your password, you can use it on all devices with which you use eduroam (cell phone, laptop, tablet, ...).

eduroam CAT:

We recommend eduroam CAT for configuring the common operating systems with the optimum security settings eduroam CAT.
