At the Clinic for Poultry and Fish Medicine students enrolled in the diploma programme for veterinary medicine receive theoretical training in the form of lectures, and practical training within a framework of hands-on exercises. Further, within the daily operations of the Clinic, experienced specialists teach prospective veterinarians how to work with animal patients.

A graduate school programme makes it possible to gain additional accreditation by writing a doctoral or PhD thesis. There is a course of studies available for students wishing to be accredited as veterinary specialists for poultry, and also the possibility of completing a residency programme through the European College of Poultry Veterinary Science (ECPVS).
