From the Viennese airport (Schwechat) to the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna it takes approximately 35 minutes by taxi or car.
Every hour an Airport bus leaves from the Viennese airport (Schwechat) to the station “Wien Donauzentrum”. There are a few buses to different places, please only use the bus “Wien Donauzentrum” (opposite underground station "Kagran"). Change into bus line 27A and get off at „Veterinärplatz/Veterinärmedizinische Universitat” right opposite the University's main gate.
Travelling by public transport within Vienna
- Underground line U1 (direction Leopoldau) and get off at station „Kagran”.
Change at „Kagran” into bus line 27A and get off at „Veterinärplatz/Veterinärmedizinische Universitat” right opposite the University's main gate. - Underground line U1 (direction Leopoldau) and get off at station „Kagraner Platz”.
At „Kagraner Platz” hop on tramway line 26 (direction Stammersdorf/Edmund-Havranek-Platz), get off at "Josef-Baumann-Gasse/Veterinärmedizinische Universitat” and walk to the University's main gate (about 5 min). - Underground line U6 (final station Floridsdorf) or City Train S1, S2, S3, S15 and get off at station "Floridsdorf"
Change into tramway line 26 (direction Aspern/Oberdorfstraße), get off at "Josef-Baumann-Gasse/Veterinärmedizinische Universitat” and walk to the University's main gate (about 5 min).
