Below you will find the online forms for referrals to imaging diagnostics.

Appointments can be made Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by calling +43 1 25077-4444.

If an examination has to be carried out by us under anesthesia, we ask you to send us a current blood count (not older than 14 days at the time of the appointment) by e-mail to roentgenologie@vetmeduni.ac.at at least 3 days before the agreed appointment.

The blood count must contain the following values (large search profile):

leukocytes; platelets; erythrocytes; hematocrit; mean corpuscular erythrocyte volume (MCV); mean corpuscular hemoglobin content of erythrocytes (MCH); mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration of erythrocytes (calculated) (MCHC); rod-nucleated rel.; segmental nucleus rel.; lymphocytes relative; monocytes relative; eosinophils rel.; basophils rel.; lymphoblasts rel.; juvenile relative; measured corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (CHCM); Mean peroxidase index of neutrophilic granulocytes (MPXI); rod-nucleated; segmental; lymphocytes; monocytes; eosinophils; basophils; large cells that the laser flow cytometer algorithm cannot automatically assign to a population (LUC); lymphoblasts; juvenile; glucose; creatinine; total protein; Albumin; alanine aminotransferase (ALT); glutamate dehydrogenase (GLDH); alkaline phosphates; Potassium; Phosphorus; coefficient of variation of erythrocyte volume, measure of anisocytosis (RDW); mean platelet volume (MPV) When taking samples (FNA and biopsy): blood coagulation - findings must not be older than 5 days in the case of a chronic disease! In acute cases, blood coagulation is carried out at the Vetmeduni.

After submitting the referral form, the patient owners will be actively contacted by us.

We would like to point out that a CT/MRT examination can only take place if a current, complete blood count (not older than 14 days at the time of the appointment) has been sent to us no later than 2 working days before the examination appointment.
