Prevention of scientific misconduct

As a founding member of the Austrian Agency for Scientific Integrity (ÖAWI), which aims to ensure good scientific practice in education and research in Austria, we attach a high importance to measures to prevent scientific misconduct.

The guidelines on good scientific practice at the Vetmeduni are based on the ÖAWI guidelines.

Questions and complaints

If you have questions or complaints relating to good scientific practice, please contact the ombudsmen at any time. They answer questions, investigate complaints and have violations investigated.

Policy on financial conflicts of interest in sponsored research

This PHS Conflict of Interest policy (Policy) must be met in cases of sponsored research submitted to the US Public Health Service (PHS) by Vetmeduni. The PHS Conflict of Interest (COI) policies apply to Investigators involved in a Sponsored Research project that is part of PHS application for funding that has either been submitted by, or awarded to, Vetmeduni.
