Vetmeduni Vienna therefore undergoes a corresponding quality assurance procedure every 7 years (1996, 2006, 2012 and 2019).

Central to this international accreditation is verifying the use of adequate instruments and procedures to systematically assure and further develop quality in the core activities and performance in accordance with national and international requirements. In addition to the excellent specialist medical education offered to students, the focus is also on merging real and virtual learning as well as the acquisition of scientific, social and entrepreneurial skills. The next accreditation is scheduled for 2026.
