The documentation center and information center for animal welfare law and veterinary law was set up in 2002 as a contact point for all questions relating to the legal human-animal relationship.

Its task, among other things, is to collect, document and process the animal-relevant legal bases from a legal perspective, as well as to answer relevant inquiries.
