About the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna
The University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna in Austria is one of the leading academic and research institutions in the field of Veterinary Sciences in Europe. The Vetmeduni employs 1.500 people and is currently training 2.500 students. The campus in Vienna Floridsdorf houses five university clinics and various research sites. Among other things, two research institutes on Vienna's Wilhelminenberg, a teaching and research estate in Lower Austria and a field office in Tyrol also belong to the Vetmeduni.The Vetmeduni has been in the top 10 of the Shanghai world university ranking in veterinary science for several years.
