Here at Vetmeduni, the Metabolomics Unit focuses on the health and well being of our pet, production animal and wildlife population. Thus our work focuses on

1) Collaborative projects with clinicians and scientists to better identify biomarkers of disease

2) Analytical chemistry development to improve methods of detection and expand the materials we can use

Example project: EU wide consortium for better identification in metabolomics

3) Building a robust digital biobank of results and projects stored as a FAIR system for better re-use of data with faster and cheaper comparative methodologies
