H. Wilhelm Schaumann Prize for the best dissertations 2023 and 2024

The H. Wilhelm Schaumann Foundation honored the best dissertations in animal nutrition of the years 2023 and 2024 on the occasion of the 79th Annual Meeting of the Society for Nutritional Physiology (GfE).
Among the award winners was our employee Rivera Chacon Raul, who was honored for his work "Exploring the potential of phytogenic compounds to modulate ruminal fermentation and mitigate subacute ruminal acidosis in dairy cattle." Congratulations!

H. Wilhelm Schaumann Prize for the best academic achievement 2024

Ms. Laura Klambauer was awarded by the H. Wilhelm Schaumann Foundation in Hamburg for her master's thesis "Influences of calf weight on the calving process in primiparous cows and comparison of different rapid methods for colostrum quality determination" category best academic achievement in the field of animal nutrition 2024.

On November 7, 2024, the outstanding scientific successes of the past year were celebrated during the Science Day, with a keynote speech by Peter Llewellyn-Davies,
