The motto of our current donation project is "Teach, learn and help" .

The practical training of students is one of the core tasks of the Vetmeduni. In order to optimally prepare the veterinarians of tomorrow for their responsible profession, practical skills are learnt right from the start of their studies through early contact with animal patients.

The new "Lehrambulanz" project offers students an additional opportunity to be introduced to patient animals with a wide variety of diseases. Under the guidance and supervision of experienced veterinarians, they independently carry out clinical examinations, make diagnoses and develop treatment plans. In this way, they deepen their practical knowledge and skills.

At the same time, the teaching clinic fulfils an important social task: it supports socially disadvantaged people in the medical care of their animals. Dogs, cats and pets such as hamsters and rabbits can be examined and treated here at low cost. This special service is close to the Vetmeduni's heart, because we know how important pets are as emotional support for people, especially in difficult life situations.

We need your support so that we can continue and expand this important work. Every donation - whether large or small - helps to give socially disadvantaged people and those at risk of poverty the opportunity to know that their pet is in good hands.
