Our state-of-the-art semen laboratory does not only supplement our clinical services but  provides also quality control semen analyses for bovine, porcine and equine semen collection centers and for animals referred by external veterinarians.

The following testing methods are used to evaluate semen:

  • Microscopic examination of motility (phase contrast)
  • Computer-assisted motility assessment (CASA)
  • Density measurement (Nucleocounter)
  • Examination for pathoforms (fixation in Hancock solution)
  • Retention test

We evaluate the findings and send you the results in writing.
