Research

I have a broad interest in ecology and conservation biology. My focus in ornithology lies on restauration ecology, species monitoring and conservation projects.  I am also interested in Citizen Science and science communication as such.

Current projects

Re-introduction of the Ural owl (Strix uralensis) to Austria  

Saker falcon (Falco cherrug) monitoring in Eastern Austria 

Research project little owl  (Athene noctua)  

Citizen Science Project "Wild neighbours" and "StadtWildTiere" (Urban wildlife)
