University members can publish and archive their research data in Phaidra and make it freely available to the public.

Archiving/Reusability

Not all file formats are suited or designed for archiving and reusability. To ensure long-term preservation and reusability of research data its file formats should meet the following requirements:

• widely used and standardized
• non-proprietary (not associated with a specific software or hardware)
• open source
• lossless or no compression

Licence

To facilitate and clarify re-use, CC-Licences can be assigned to research data stored in Phaidra.

Please consider:

Clarify all legal and ethical issues before publishing your research data in Phaidra. Provide meaningful metadata.
