Simply go to the shelf, pick out a book and go to the borrowing desk.

On the presentation of your library card your book is then booked out; you can keep it for one month and the loan can be renewed only one more time via the Internet (see following section), unless someone else has reserved the book in the meantime.

Alternatively, for outside the hours of library support there is an automatic booking device (see last section).
