Citavi - reference management software
Citavi is a reference management program that supports you throughout the entire research and writing process—from literature search to the finished manuscript.
With Citavi, you can search library catalogs and subject databases, collect and manage references, archive full texts, insert citations and bibliographies into your documents, organize knowledge, plan tasks, and much more.
The University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna holds a campus license. This allows members of the university to use Citavi for Windows and Citavi Web free of charge for study, teaching, and research—both on campus and at home.
First Steps
Citavi for Windows runs on Windows and must be installed on your computer. Updates and new versions need to be installed regularly. You can see whether updates are available in the news feed on the Citavi for Windows start screen.
Citavi Web is a browser-based version of Citavi and can be used regardless of the operating system. Updates are applied automatically. Not all features of Citavi for Windows are available in Citavi Web. For details, please refer to the Citavi Web manual.
