Einführung in Generative KI. - Künstliche Intelligenz verstehen und verantwortungsvoll an der Vetmeduni einsetzen

Academic AI ist eine KI-Plattform, über die datenschutzkonform auf das Sprachmodell ChatGPT zugegriffen werden kann. Sie wird von ACOmarket bereitgestellt und nutzt Microsoft Azure als sichere Infrastruktur. Die Anwendung ist über den Webbrowser nutzbar und ermöglicht es Mitarbeiter:innen der Vetmeduni, mit aktuellen Versionen von ChatGPT in Form von Text-Chats zu interagieren.

Beschreibung und Inhalte des Webinars:

Künstliche Intelligenz gewinnt an Hochschulen zunehmend an Bedeutung – doch was steckt dahinter, und wie kann sie sinnvoll eingesetzt werden? Das Webinar bietet eine praxisnahe Einführung in KI (Künstliche Intelligenz) und LLMs (Large Language Models), vermittelt ein grundlegendes Verständnis für ihre Funktionsweise und diskutiert ethische sowie rechtliche Aspekte wie Datenschutz und Haftung. Außerdem wird die Plattform Academic AI vorgestellt und deren Handhabung und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten erläutert. Die Teilnehmenden haben zudem anschließend die Möglichkeit, Fragen zu stellen und sich über Chancen und Herausforderungen auszutauschen.

Introduction to Generative AI - Understanding Artificial Intelligence and Using It Responsibly at Vetmeduni

Academic AI is an AI platform that allows privacy-compliant access to the language model ChatGPT. It is provided by ACOmarket and uses Microsoft Azure as a secure infrastructure. The application is accessible via a web browser and enables employees of Vetmeduni to interact with current versions of ChatGPT in the form of text chats.

Description and content of the webinar: Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important at universities – but what lies behind it, and how can it be used effectively? The webinar offers a practical introduction to AI (Artificial Intelligence) and LLMs (Large Language Models), providing a fundamental understanding of how they work and discussing ethical and legal aspects such as data privacy and liability. Additionally, the platform Academic AI will be introduced, and its handling and potential applications will be explained. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with AI.
