Erasmus+ Days at Vetmeduni
To mark the tenth anniversary of the Erasmus+ Days, Vetmeduni is taking part with a varied programme of events focusing on international mobility and exchange.
„The Erasmus Days are an international six-day celebration of the Erasmus+ programme. During these days, people throughout the world are invited to come together and either organise or participate at events that celebrate the projects and opportunities proposed by Erasmus+. For students, teachers, trainers, professionals and more generally, all citizens, the Erasmus Days represent a unique moment to promote the multitude of benefits that result from the programme. In 2026, the 10th edition of the Erasmus Days will take place from the 12th until the 17th October.“ (Source: www.erasmusdays.eu)
As part of this year’s Erasmus+ Days, the International Relations Office is hosting a number of events focusing on studying, further education and exchange programmes in an international context. The varied programme is aimed at both students and staff at Vetmeduni and offers an opportunity to gather information on funding for stays abroad, share experiences and gain an insight into international perspectives.
Plans include, amongst other things, information sessions on mobility and exchange opportunities for students and staff. During an extended consultation hour, those interested can have their individual queries answered whilst also engaging with the topic of internationalisation in an entertaining way through a quiz and a prize draw.
Another item on the programme is a welcome event for incoming international students and Vetmeduni students planning to go abroad. The highlight of the event is the workshop ‘“Going international” is more than a holiday trip’ with Dr Margret Steixner. The intercultural trainer, coach and expert in supporting learners through transformative experiences will explore what it means to embrace new cultural and personal impressions. The Erasmus+ Days thus create a space for connection, guidance and inspiration on the path to international experiences.
