• Mediating disputes between members of the university
• Decisions about complaints made by the Working Group on Equal Opportunities for discrimination due to gender, ethnic background, religion or world view, age or sexual orientation resulting from a decision of a university organ.
• Decisions about objections raised by the Working Group on Equal Opportunities due to incorrect composition of a collegiate organ according to § 42 para. 8a Universities Act 2002
• Decisions about complaints raised by the Working Group on Equal Opportunities for discrimination regarding the election of a rector according to § 42 para. 8b Universities Act 2002
• Decisions about objections raised by the Working Group on Equal Opportunities due to an unsuited candidate proposed for the election into the Senate according to § 42 para. 8c Universities Act 2002
