    Curriculum Vitae of Veronika Sexl

    Prof. Veronika Sexl is an established researcher with international visibility in the field of cancer research with a focus on tumor surveillance and signalling in leukemogenesis. Her research received several distinctions and awards and she serves as reviewer for numerous high impact factor journals. As of June 2015 she has co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications with cumulative impact factor points of 797, totalling more than 3,200 citations and her Hirsch Factor is 27 according to Research Gate.

    Since Veronika Sexl has become principal investigator she has attracted more than 6.5M€ in external funds from national and international sources. She has an outstanding track record in promoting the career of her research staff and maintains numerous international collaborations with leaders in the fields of tumour surveillance and oncogenic signalling. Her management experience is extensive and she serves as member on numerous boards, including the council of the Medical University Vienna and the European Hematology Association (EHA). She also serves as the Austrian delegate for the council of EMBO/EMBL.
