Deadlines for the admissions procedure 2021/2022

See below for the important dates and times in connection with the 2021/2022 enrolment process.
Further information is available in the relevant
directive on the admissions procedure which can be found below.

  • Online application
    3 May 2021, 11:00 (CET), to 4 June 2021, 13:00 (CET)
  • Payment of fees
    3 May 2021 to 11 June 2021
    (Please note that, in accordance with the directive, the fees must be received no later than by 11 June 2021.)
  • For foundation courses: Uploading certificates for point allocation
    3 May 2021 to 9 July 2021 (on the portal for the online application)
  • Aptitude tests
    You will be automatically allocated a personal aptitude test appointment within the defined periods. Please note that, according to the Directive, it is not under any circumstances permitted to postpone this appointment.

    • Diploma/bachelor programme:
      in the period from 19 July 2021 to 23 July 2021
    • Master programmes:
      in the period from 12 July 2021 to 23 July 2021

Notarisation of foreign degree certificates

All necessary documents are to be presented in accordance with the defined requirements. More detailed information can be found under the following link 4.


Examination contents

Pursuant to Articles 71c, paras. 4 and 6, in conjunction with Article 71b, para. 7(3) of the Austrian Universities Act (UG 2002, promulgated in the Federal Law Gazette [BGBl. I Nr. 120/2002] as amended); published in the official gazette on 13.01.2021 5.


Online Application

From 3 May 2021, 11:00 (CET) to 4 June, 13:00 (CET), you can register for online application 10 at the following link 10 (activation: 3 May 2021, 11:00 (CET)!).
Please note that you are only allowed to register either for Diploma programme or for Bachelor programme (Directive 1 §4(2))!

After successful registration you can use the online application service of Vetmeduni Vienna.

After successful online application at the online application service you can check up on the status of your application independently, i.a.:

  • status application fee
  • status uploaded documents

Important information:

  • You can login via your registered email adress.
  • Please note your application number.
  • After the application period you can upload documents within the set deadline.
