Elena Thurner, BA has been a guest researcher in the Unit of Ethics and Human-Animal Studies at the Messerli Research Institute since December 2019. As student of the Master of Philosophy (University of Vienna) she is writing her Master’s Thesis entitled "Towards a Practice-Oriented Distinction between Pets and Companion Animals".
