Thursday, 15th October 2015

6-9 p.m., Lecture Hall A of the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna

Short and crisp, fizzy and profound, conceived differently and performed differently. In the anniversary year 2015, scientists at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna will present their research in a new perspective.

On 15 October 2015 the largest lecture hall of our University will serve as a stage for thinkers and performers. In five- to eight-minute lectures, young scientists will present their research projects and results. At the Science Slam the speakers are called upon to present their research in an easily comprehensible and entertaining manner. The audience should be captivated by the presentation. The Science Slammer of the year will then be selected by the audience.

All Slammers are invited to participate in an Science Slam-Training on the 29th of September 2015 (5-9 p.m.). The training aims to prepare for the contest and will offer creative input for each Slammer.
