On-site registration - Welcome Reception

Delegates are invited to join the Welcome Reception on 23^th of September (18:00-20:00) on the Vienna Veterinary Campus. Local wines, non-alcoholic beverages and cold food will be served. The Welcome Reception is included in the conference fee. 

Conference Dinner

For Conference Dinner, we'll have buffet, wine and music at Heuriger Wolff, a traditional Old Vienna Heuriger on Tuesday evening 25^th of September 2012. Note that it is not included in the registration fee (Price: 50 €, including bus, buffet and drinks). www.wienerheurigen.at

Heuriger is the name given to those Eastern-Austrian wine-taverns, where wine-growers serve the most recent year's wine and where patrons can experience Gemütlichkeit. “Heurig” means this year's (as an adjective) in Austrian German. Thus, Heuriger can mean both, recent year's wine as well as the place where you drink it.

As is suitable for a typical Heuriger, at Wolff all rooms are furnished in a rustic style, with tiled stoves fired with wood and candle light. The courtyard sheltered from the wind and the terraced garden offer many cosy seats in a romantic atmosphere. You'll find a wide choice at the rich buffet with typical titbits from the Viennese cookery as well as home-made sweets. Wolff's wines have their origins exclusively in the own growing in the vineyards of Neustift, Sievering, Grinzing and Nussdorf. 

Visit of the Vienna Zoo

On the 26th of September afternoon there will be an opportunity to visit the Vienna Zoo “Tiergarten Schönbrunn”. Entrance and a guided tour are sponsored by the Vetmeduni Vienna and the zoo (no additional costs)
